I approached two immigration lawyers recommended by a friend to help file my EB1-A petition, but they both declined to take it on citing technical reasons that my case seems too complex for them to handle.
I searched the internet for credible immigration law firms and came across Scott D. Pollock & Associates, P.C. and decided to proceed with the engagement.
Not only are the staff highly competent, they are truly exceptional, knowledgeable, and work to the highest level of professional and ethical standards.
Scott D. Pollock & Associates, P.C. got my EB1-A petition approved, contrary to the submission of the previous firms contacted initially. This further underscores the ability of their immigration lawyers to handle complex EB1-A petitions.
I would like to strongly recommend Scott D. Pollock & Associates, P.C.
Scott D. Pollock & Associates, P.C. team, thank you so much for your professionalism and kind support.

My father scheduled a consultation with Hilary Chadwick. He had a great experience with her during their consultation. She is fluent in Spanish which made my father comfortable since English is not his first language. She provided the necessary information for his immigration status. We truly appreciate her knowledge and attention to this! Thank you SDP&A!

After having hired three reputable law firms in the past (and consulted four more) and getting no results (or even making the situation worse) and with thousands of dollars spent, we got lucky: we found the office of Scott D. Pollock.
Our case was quite complex, but Scott did an excellent job of not only understanding the little details and complexities within the first phone call, but also explaining all the possible scenarios and solutions for each one of them. Scott and Christina closely followed our case and prepared us for possible outcomes. But what sets them apart from other attorneys is that they stay very up-to-date with legal information from recent cases, which, in our case, was very valuable and led to a settlement.
It is an office of sincere, trustworthy, and compassionate attorneys who are extremely professional and organized. If you have an immigration issue and/or are disappointed with your current attorney, don’t hesitate to contact the office of Scott D. Pollock. He will help you when and where others can’t.

I don’t usually leave Google reviews but I felt compelled to after working with Anne G. Relias. Anne and her team represented me in three cases and did an excellent job at each one of them.
Since I arrived to the United States, Anne and her team took the time to thoroughly understand my case and unique circumstances, guiding me through the complex immigration process with confidence, and kept me well-informed at every step of the process.
Despite the difficult life situation I was going through at that time, I felt I was in very capable hands. Anne left no stone unturned, ensuring that all necessary paperwork was filed accurately and on time. She appeared with me to immigration interviews which are notorious for being difficult. She handled it with confidence and made me feel at ease. I am now waiting for my naturalization ceremony to become a U.S. citizen!

I’ve been a client for my asylum case from Afghanistan. We were a group of 66 people entering the U.S. and apply for asylum with different attorneys. I’ve had the pleasure of working with Lindsay and her team, from consultation to approval at all steps of the way. I was new in the U.S. and noting know about the UCSIC office and asylum interview, Lindsay was the one who prepared me for my asylum interview and joints the interview in the immigration office, and her presence increased my confidence to explain my situation to the officer, and finally, USCIS granted asylum for me within two months, which was a big surprise for all of our group because most of them were waiting for their asylum interview. In conclusion, Lindsay is an excellent attorney who goes above and beyond for her clients. He responds in an extremely timely matter. She is very knowledgeable, professional, and trustworthy. There is no other attorney that will work as hard for you. Highly recommend Lindsay for any immigration cases, especially asylum. Thank you for all the help! 🙂

My experience with being represented by Dalia Fuleihan would make me recommend Scott D. Pollock and his team for anyone that may need immigration matters sorted out. Dalia’s persistence to seek out her client’s best interest are matched by her diligence and proficiency in her work. After an order of removal from the immigration court she put in an appeal for me and was able to get my case re-opened and scheduled for a new hearing. Dalia has stuck with my loved ones and I through this whole process, always remained in contact and clearly kept me informed along the way with everything going on with my matters and shining light through the dim areas of my immigration case when I or my family may have had concerns. She’s an amazing attorney, thank you sincerely.

Lindsay is fantastic! I have hired Lindsay and the firm multiple times (J2 Waiver, O-1A, and most recently an O-1A renewal). All cases that Lindsay prepared were phenomenal, approved, and far above and beyond the quality and detail of cases that I have seen prepared by other attorneys for friends and colleagues. Even though there was a lot of information for Lindsay to review and assimilate into my O-1A visa cases to meet the stringent immigration criteria, the application she prepared was word-perfect and incredibly compelling. Lindsay is quick, a great communicator who replies in just minutes or hours to emails/calls, and keeps me on track to ensure that I am meeting any and every deadline. Even when things have been complicated or my situation has changed, I have had every trust in Lindsay and the firm to be proactive, keep me aware of my options, and do what’s best for me. I would recommend anyone looking for an immigration attorney hire Lindsay in a heartbeat and not worry about looking elsewhere. I am so grateful for her support and I look forward to having her on my side for all my future immigration needs.

“I don’t know where to start. We needed a multi-media designer that was very auto / Motorcycles specialized and we had someone in Europe we had in mind. I had called 5 offices in my state (Florida) and no one had experience in this or did not give me a ballpark price. All of them only did family-related visa. I was given Scott D Pollock & Associates PC as a referral from a friend in Chicago. We called the office and made an appointment to visit the office and interview so to speak. Hugo our attorney walked us through the process to do an Employment-Based Visa. Hugo told us the average cost and time frame, I felt very comfortable with all his answers and you could tell they have done this many times. I didn’t feel like these just wanted my money. They truly have a passion for this.
The cost and time frame was spot on. After 2 years (due to Covid-19), we are happy to say we have a new employee and his family living the American dream and I have a highly valued employee. Hugo and his team we now see as family. They did all the leg work for a small business like mine and handled everything with great speed and precision, always communicating with us. I would have never thought I would be able to bring someone to help my business without Hugo, his team, or Scott D Pollock. Thank you very much for making someone’s DREAM come true. I can express my gratitude for all work, expertise, and honestly down-to-earth feel I felt with them.”

“The anxiety is building – will I get deported and have to leave my young daughters and husband? Thanks to Christina Murdoch the paralyzing mind numbing fear and stress was over after 8 years and I’m now a US citizen! I filed for citizenship on my own; and realized that I made a critical error – I inadvertently agreed to vote while filling out my driver’s license renewal. I certainly never thought about it again after I left the DMV. Never actually pursued it. It was a non-event for me personally. Fast forward 4 years later. I am five months pregnant with two young boys we fostered and hoped to adopt. Suddenly after seven years of marriage; becoming a citizen was very important to me so I applied and got turned down for claiming citizenship by ticking off “yes” I would like to vote. A letter came in the mail accusing me of being disingenuous and wanting to usurp all the rights of citizenship. Screw you it said. We will deport you. First of all – they gave me way too much credit. After working very long hours on a daily basis there’s barely anytime for me to usurp anything. I hired an attorney – sole proprietor and cheap. He was okay but not good enough. Changed strategies. I did a lot of research, read ALOT of reviews and decided on Scott D. Pollock & Associates, P.C. Private firm, expensive but not the two cows and a goat expensive. Just one cow. More importantly the firm won’t disintegrate into thin year after a few years. They were a firmly established business that had appeared to have great stability. Christina Murdoch is small unassuming woman who is a type of nuanced smart; you know – the type of smart where you can feel it. She’s also meticulous with an extreme inclination for details. She explained my situation to me very clearly. She gets down to business in her quiet way. Focused and exacting on my recollection of how my predicament started. She explains the law for me to understand what I did wrong. She explains all my possible options. She explains the costs associated with each option. My husband and I pick a path and go for it. Even the USCIS attorney is impressed with her. Dare I say admired her? Ps. She also helped me with my green card issue. Totally did not think I needed my physical green card to buy a home. Well lenders care very much and it was a no go unless I had it. I was able to get it just in time for closing and yes all thanks to Christina Murdoch! I say; give up the cow and get Christina.”

“I own a company in Michigan and wanted to hire a candidate who is a non-US citizen, but had no idea what the necessary steps were. I started by looking for an immigration lawyer near me, but had very little luck. I decided to broaden my search and look for an immigration lawyer in Chicago. I was pleased to find Scott D. Pollock & Associates and learn that they work with people nationwide. When I had my first meeting with Hugo Rojas, his expertise was apparent. Through our Zoom meetings, he has been so helpful with a number of immigration issues, including explaining details and steps of the OPT process, H-1B application process, and green card application process. We are still working together, and I anticipate that we will continue to work with Scott D. Pollock & Associates as our company grows. “I would highly recommend Scott D. Pollock & Associates, we worked directly with Anne Relias and her Legal Assistant Jose Haro. They both always made themselves available when we had questions and always walked us through the process each step of the way. We had moved to North Carolina, where the view on immigration is much more conservative. She was able to navigate the immigration process here powerfully, decisively and confidently, even from Chicago. Anne was very organized and knowledgeable of all aspects of our case. She utilized many facets of the law to progress our case quickly. We did not have a simple case, and I know there was a lot of work and research to be done, on her side. In the end, we were able to get my wife???s adjustment of status to permanent resident without having to return to Mexico for an interview. Which was very relieving, knowing how the world and that area is right now. As I said we would highly recommend Scott D. Pollock & Assoc. and Anne Relias. My Wife, Son and Myself are very grateful to her, Jose and The Firm. We were ecstatic when my wife received her Green Card and now we can continue our lives with much less worry and a much brighter future.”

“I am involved in looking for a new priest for our church, and one of our candidates is from the UK and so presents immigration issues. I was referred to Scott Pollock from two independent sources. Scott offered me a concise overview of the relevant immigration process, outlining two possible avenues we could follow. He gave me an estimate of the costs of government fees and legal fees, as well as an estimated timeline. Scott was knowledgeable, thorough and courteous. Thanks to Scott, I can go back to my church with information about the immigration process that is critical to our decision. If we decide to go forward with this candidate, we will be sure to employ the Scott Pollock firm to assist us.”

“To start off Mr. Pollock is by far the best Immigration Attorney in all of Chicago and Illinois that speaks Spanish and was perfect for our family. First, before taking our case we had a consultation, and indicated he would be able to take our case to represent our family. As our case took place back in 2012 it was a very complicated since we were in DEPORTATION PROCEEDINGS nevertheless Mr. Pollock managed to resolve our case. Because of his philosophy “Immigration lawyers occupy a peculiar space where, often, government practices are not policies, policies are not rules, rules are not law, and both rules and law seem to be dispensed with, with hardly a second thought.” He helped my father and myself get our green card along with my mothers work permit. I can now say thanks to Mr. Pollock I served in the US Marine Corps and was just recently Honorably Discharged. Along with that thanks to Mr. Pollock my father recently became a US Citizen along with myself through my military service. THANK YOU MR. POLLOCK FOR YOUR HARD WORK AND DEDICATION TO IMMIGRANT FAMILIES!!!!!!!!!”

He also helped in preparing the documents in applying to the US Dept. of Labor for sponsorship. Everything went fine for he knows the stages/ process and all the legalities needed by the USCIS. When the we apply for the adjustment of status, he also prepared the application for the EAD/ Advance Parole so that I could go in and out of the US. Everything is smooth and easy because he checks and advise the necessary documents before submitting the USCIS Forms. Finally, I got my green card without any interview.”

“I worked with Christina Murdoch and her Assistant Jessica Murguia for my I-485 case, which was pending for almost twenty months and Christina and her team helped me file a complaint to expedite it. Eventually, they helped me resolve this issue in less than two months.
When I had my first free phone consultation with Christina I was very impressed by how friendly and knowledgeable she was. Christina quickly recommended the best strategy for me. Later, I found that she was not only professional but also very efficient in answering all my queries, which is important for me especially in the pandemic situation. I truly appreciate her help.
I would also like to thank Michael, the firm administrator, and Jessica who have been very friendly and efficient in answering my administrative related questions such as billing and logistics. In general, Christina and her team are very professional and efficient. I highly recommend Scott D. Pollock and Associates to anyone who has immigration issues and wants to resolve them quickly and correctly.”

“So, we messed up our Removal of Conditions application and received the dreaded RFE. When we put that application together it was very last minute and rushed because I procrastinated. Anything to do with USCIS stresses me out and I tend to bury my head in the sand. I decided to retain a lawyer as I didn’t want to mess up again for the RFE. I shopped around for a bit. When I consulted with another lawyer that was highly recommended to us by a friend, he offered an affordable flat rate fee but he had made me feel like there was a good chance we wouldn’t get approved because of circumstances that don’t fit the mold of a traditional marriage. e.g. we don’t file our taxes jointly, and I’m not on the deed of our condo. That consultation left me feeling nervous and had me catastrophizing future scenarios where I would get deported, my wife would only be able to visit me once a year resulting in the deterioration and ruin of our marriage, my dog would have to remain in the states because I would never risk him dying in cargo on a 20 hour plane ride, that I would never get to hug most of my friends and family again etc, etc.
After that consultation I had one set up with Scott who was highly recommended to me by a lawyer I work with at my work. This phone call was vastly different. We went over the same issues as the other lawyer but he made it seem like these were just small hurdles and as long as we could explain them, then USCIS would be satisfied. I ended the phone call at ease, hopeful and confident that our application would go through just fine. Because of this, I decided to go with this firm.
Christina Murdoch and her assistant Araceli were assigned to my file. I couldn’t be happier with the service and quality of work I received from them. They were both super professional, extremely responsive and patient with me. Once again, my anxiety got the best of me and I stuck my head in the sand. Thankfully, Araceli checked one me often and nudged me along the way in a pleasant manner. With my wife’s help, we were able to send over our evidence to Christina and Araceli a month before the USCIS deadline (totally unheard of from me who waits until the very last minute for everything!). The file they compiled for us was thorough and well put together. It was overnighted to USCIS and seven days later we found out our file was approved! And another week later my green card was delivered.
In short, I highly recommend this firm and I’m so thankful to Christina and Araceli for all of their work, patience and kindness.”

“Hugo was very professional throughout the process of my family and i receiving our Permanent Residence. Hugo is very experienced in his field. There were times during the process where we were unsure of the outcome but Hugo’s calming presence was always there to make us feel positive about the end result. I would recommend Hugo to anyone looking to make a life for themselves in the United States that is not a current citizen.”

I feel like all the previous reviews hit the nail on the head when it comes to Lindsay and her knowledge and professionalism. I had a N-400 which was denied, Lindsay filed an appeal to the decision (N-336), diligently asked questions and collected necessary documents for the upcoming appeal interview. Once at the interview all the documents were presented in a professional and organized manner (binder with color coded and numbered tabs). 3 weeks after the appeal interview, my N-400 decision was overturned and I will soon be sworn in as a US Citizen.
Let this review stand as reassurance for anyone who is looking for a talented attorney who will go to work for you and get you the results you want.

“It’s been a while since my case got done but I’ve wanted to leave this review ever since. I had a case that was a little different and because of that and because of my very traumatic experiences that led to me coming to this country I was always very nervous and scared that it wouldn’t go the way I needed it to. Mr. Pollock and his legal assistant Sue Gerber were always there to ease my mind and answer all my questions and concerns. Mr Pollock was there in person for all my interviews and made sure that everything went well and that I was being treated the way I should be treated. He’s a real expert in his field and If I could rate him and his team higher than 5 stars I would. 5 stars is just not enough for the amazing experience I had. On top of that I always got the feeling that both Scott Pollock and Sue Gerber really cared about the outcome for me and my two children and that really helped me feel a little safer during the process of getting my green card. They were also very accommodating when it came to working out a payment plan that worked for me. My final words are that Mr. Pollock, Sue Gerber and the rest of the team are amazing. They really know what they are doing and are also very compassionate people that really care about their clients. I never felt like I was just another client that paid them to help me, I always felt like they really cared about myself and my children and what would happen to us. I would never recommend any other lawyer in Chicago when it comes to immigration, Scott Pollock is a superstar. Thank you Scott Pollock and Sue Gerber for working so hard to ensure the safety and well being of myself and my kids. Thanks to you we can now call America our home and I’ll forever be thankful.”

“My experience with Mr. Pollock was a very pleasant one. My review will have three sections: -one from the initial meeting and getting to know the group, -two with the interview process, -and three with the result of my asylum. 1. Mr. Pollock was very empathetic from the first meeting and he answered all of my questions and concerns. In the beginning I had met with a legal assistant and we spent a lot of time going over my story and explaining the situation of the country from which I come, in order to craft my story in a written format to be added to the case. Only to realize that a while later my case was assigned to another legal assistant, and the old one with whom I met previously did not write anything from the three hour meeting we had. Discussing everything that went bad in my life that got me to become a refugee was extremely triggering for my PTSD, and I would have appreciated their help more if the legal assistant had taken that into consideration. However, the new legal assistant was amazing. Her name is Araceli, and our meeting went very smoothly and professionally. She helped me write my story and was always very responsive to all of my questions and needs regarding the asylum process. 2. In the interview, Mr. Pollock accompanied me. I appreciated him being there with me because I was nervous. He was there every step of the way, and his closing statement was an eloquent summary of the reasons behind me seeking political asylum in the United States. 3. Thanks to the support of Scott and Araceli, my asylum application was approved, and now I get to build a new life in a safe country. I am very thankful and appreciative.”

“We hired Scott Pollock close to one year ago. We have a complicated immigration case. Before hiring Scott, we hired different attorneys and consulted with many others (over the past 5 years). We eventually came across Scott D. Pollock and I’m glad we did! Scott is very knowledgeable and he always has a clear explanation for our situation, upcoming steps or any question that we have. Scott and Christina were always fast to respond to our emails and very knowledgeable and clear. They are both very friendly, honest and professional. A pleasure to work with.

“It is my pleasure to write a recommendation on behalf of Scott D. Pollock. After having hired 3 very reputable attorney firms in the past (and having consulted 4 more) and having achieved neutral or close to negative results with thousands of dollars spent, we got lucky: we found Scott D. Pollock’s office. Our case was pretty complex (in Removal Proceedings) but Scott did an excellent job not only in understanding all the details and intricacies on our first call but also in explaining to us all the possible scenarios and solutions for each. Scott and Christina followed our case closely and timely, they prepared us for potential outcomes but what differentiates them from the others (in addition to their high professional level and honesty) is that they keep very current and updated with recent law cases and information that, in our case, was very valuable and led to a solution. Candid, dependable, compassionate and extremely professional and organized office. If you have an immigration problem and/or are disappointed with your current lawyer(s), don’t hesitate to contact Scott D. Pollock’s office: He will help you when and where others can’t.”

“I am the Human Resources Manager of a small manufacturing company in WI. I have worked with Hugo Rojas for just over a year now and I have had a very enjoyable, stress-free work experience with him and his team. After a career of working with many different legal attorneys, I have easily identified the characteristics that make Hugo and his team standout. What has impressed me the most is his passion for the work he does, the positivity and patience he has with the people/customers he works with, his expertise in the field, and his overall dedication and support for our company! Hugo and his team are efficient, they will always give you a timely response. Most importantly, they will always make the time for you – even if it is last minute! His team will take the time to explain to you in detail the language of a process in an easy to understand way – that way any manager can understand when steps get confusing. He honestly makes the process easy! Hugo is forward thinking, makes sure everything is compliant and everything is completed by the deadline. “Our firm chose Scott D. Pollock & Associates, P.C. to assist one of our partners as we learned from other immigration lawyers the firm is among the best in their understanding of immigration law. We understood they generally have a record of success with even their most difficult and challenging cases. We have been working with Scott and his team to successfully obtain a Green Card for our partner and we felt we were in the best hands. Scott and his staff have been friendly and warm in their interactions with us. We found their advice to be highly detailed and their recommendations conservative to improve the odds of a successful outcome. I felt like I was in good hands from day one. Her understanding of case law, the legal process, and the court system in Chicago were exceptional. Kathryn was passionate, detail-oriented, and great to work with. Her strong reputation within the courts and the opposing counsel’s office were an asset. “My family and I were helped by attorneys Christina Murdoch and Scott D. Pollock over the last 10 years of immigration journey for my mother, sister and brother to USA under different circumstances and different visa categories. There are just not enough words to describe how great they are! They are beyond 5 stars. They both are just simply above and beyond!!
My entire family has experienced nothing but professional excellency with Scott D. Pollock and Associates!!! After working with Attorney Murdoch, Attorney Pollock, and all their office staff for more than 10 years, I truly believe & I can say with confidence that Scott D Pollock & Associates is really an excellent immigration law firm! I am not only just satisfied, I am amazed and so impressed with the quality of services and assistance they provide!! Attorneys Christina Murdoch and Scott D. Pollock are highly professional, knowledgeable, very sincere, and honest with their clients. I always found them truly trustworthy, responsible, very quick in responding, and very sensitive to time limits!! Every time they prepared documents and forms I was amazed how much attention they paid to every detail, and how thoroughly and carefully they review before filing. They have excellent communication skills and are very passionate about their client cases. I find their staff very professional, efficient and ethical. All I can say is that since the very first day we met Attorney Scott D. Pollock and Attorney Christina Murdoch we immediately knew we are in the best hands, and left their office with feeling of peace, trust and great confidence!!!
My mother, brother, sister and our entire family believes that we are simply blessed to have found them!!!! I will never forget that Attorney Murdoch and Attorney Pollock have helped save my sister from being left alone to die from cancer without help in another country. Attorney Murdoch’s extraordinary and excellent representation of her case made it possible to get Humanitarian Parole visa! Since then Attorney Murdoch has helped renew the HP visa multiple times successfully and eventually her Permanent Residency in USA! With Christina’s and Scott’s help, just 3 days ago my family was blessed with completion and closure of the last of many difficult and complicated immigration cases with USCIS of my mother (citizenship process with complication of dementia and multiple disabilities and I-130 petition for my siblings), sister (Medical Treatment visa, followed by Humanitarian Parole and difficult renewals, then finally Permanent Residency), and my brother (successful visitor’s visa with difficult and complicated immigration history, followed by F1 Student visa, then H1 work visa, and finally EB1 visa and Permanent Residency just last week)!!!
In-A-Nutshell, I trust them so much that I can say with confidence, if one is in need of help with any Immigration matter, I pray and wish that they find their way to Scott D Pollock and Associates!”

Attorney Christina Murdoch provided outstanding immigration support to allow my wife’s sister to come to the US for medical treatment and rehabilitation. My wife’s sister was diagnosed with oral cancer and she alone with no family in a foreign country. With Attorney Murdoch’s help we applied for a visa for medical treatment, but unfortunately the visa was denied. This left my wife having to decide between her sick and likely dying sister in a foreign country and her elderly mother, with dementia and other aliments in US. After the cancer surgery and chemotherapy the sister still needed rehabilitation, additional treatments, and could not care for herself. So with Attorney Murdoch helped us apply for Humanitarian Parole that was successful. The seriously ill sister was able to come to the US so my wife could care of both the sister and her elderly mother.
We appreciate the professional and good support from Attorney Murdoch and Scott D Pollock and Associates for all their help to make it possible for us to have meaningful lives again.”

“Scott D Pollock & Associates provides high level of immigration services. The lawyers are professional and experienced, even in complicates cases. I can especially recommend Kathryn Weber, who is very engaged and professional. From the first meeting she presented me different scenarios, how the case may go, and was prepared for all the outcomes, with the plan how to proceed further, never giving up. I was very impressed how knowledgeable she is, and at the same time very patient and sensitive to human side of the process. She is exceptionally dedicated to her job and made every effort so my case is approved. Kathryn pays attention to details and plans ahead. My case was not simple, however ended up successfully thanks to Kathryn. I would recommend her to everyone who is looking for effective, smart, devoted, and at the same time very nice lawyer.”

“A colleague referred me to Scott to help bring my fiancé to the United States. Scott represented us through both the visa and adjustment of status process after we married. Our case was definitely not typical. Scott’s experience with the process meant he always was able to provide us with multiple options. Scott also had back-up strategies in case something didn’t work out perfectly. We did what Scott (& his legal assistant, Jose Haro) said regarding providing documents throughout the process. We always had many questions. So, we greatly appreciated Scott’s availability, especially via email. His responses were always accurate with timely information. As a result, we always knew what to expect. Now we are together in the U.S. and look forward to when my husband can apply for U.S. citizenship! We will definitely use Scott and his firm again. And, I would absolutely recommend Scott to anyone else needing immigration help as well.”

“Scott helped me with my immigration to the United States. I had never worked with a lawyer before, and I was watching videos on the internet to prepare for my interview. Scott asked me what I learned from the videos, and then said “it’s good you watched them, now forget everything you saw.” He told me what the U.S. consular officers were going to ask and why. He took a lot of time and helped me prepare a plan to keep things simple and how to explain my situation in a way that would make sense to the officers. The interview involved extensive questions and in the end the officer told me my visa would be approved. Thanks to Scott and his legal assistant Jose, I am now a lawful permanent resident living and working in the United States.”

“My experience working with Hugo exceeded all of my expectations. We contacted Hugo near the final step of my EB2 Visa application. He was very helpful and professional. He was very clear about exactly what was needed and walked us through every step of designing and packaging our application in a way that gave us the best chance of success. There are so many minor details that only someone with experience and knowledge would know, and each of those details could be a reason for the USCIS to deny the application. There were many parts of the application (more than I can remember or count) that needed expertise far beyond ours. For example, he helped us draft the letters of explanation in the exact style that the immigration agents want in order to give us the best chance of getting approved – something only an expert would know.
Hugo was always available throughout the entire process, both by phone and in person. He made it easy to understand what was needed and was efficient in providing everything in a timely manner that allowed us to complete the process as quickly as possible. But his assistance didn’t end after the application was filed. He monitored and informed us of the progress of our application at every step and was there to explain what each result meant. At one point, the application was returned with a request for more information. Without Hugo’s guidance, we never would have known the right way to proceed and the right information to provide to allow our application process to continue and be approved.
If you are looking for an attorney to help with your immigration application and want someone who will pour his heart into it and give you the best chance of success, I cannot state strongly enough my recommendation for Hugo Rojas.”

Prior to working with Hugo, my company hired an immigration attorney for my colleague’s GC and his PERM was denied after a lengthy audit and that’s when Hugo came on board. “We contacted Scott Pollock through a referral. A friend of the family arrived from Israel with a long term visa that extended her a six month stay. Upon going through customs, and for some unknown reason, the agent told her he changed her visa status and she was only allowed to be here for 32 days. Upon discussion with Scott, he suggested we check a passport website to see if our friends status had actually been altered as the agent had threatened, and amazingly the status was the original six month time frame that was listed on her visa! Thanks to Scott, our friend didn’t have to leave the country prematurely. We will always be grateful for his kind and calming demeanor and will certainly recommend him and this firm!”

“I began working with Scott D. Pollock & Associates, P.C. back in 2015. I was born in U.S., but my wife had a work permit via the DACA. We knew ‘fixing her papers’ (obtaining a green card) was risky, and a very long, stressful, and expensive process, but we felt this law firm would give us our best chance at winning her immigration case; this was due to positive reviews online, and a referral from my mother’s previous coworker. My wife came to the U.S. illegally at the age of 4, but never committed any crimes. She was 25 when we began this process, and had just renewed her DACA. She was gainfully employed (as was I), we had 1 child, she was attending college, we owned a condo, 2 cars, and she was an active member of her church. All of these factors, along with letters of support from both of our doctors, friends, and family members all aided in making our case that much stronger. This law firm helped to take all of these factors to help us build a very strong case. The amount of time spent gathering documents, writing our own plea letters, and moving this process forward was the most intense workload (ourside of my day-job), I’ve ever had to deal with. I would have been completely lost had it not been for my attorney guiding me every single step of the way; Linda, was a tremendous help as well. Finally, after 3 years, the birth of our 2nd son, etc. we were summoned to the consulate in Juarez, Mexico. Our attorney, and Linda were both very helpful in helping us to prepare for our ‘trip’, and the result was my wife being approved as a U.S. Permanent Resident! Scott D. Pollock & Associates, P.C. is an incredible law firm that surpassed our expectations for our immigration needs, and the empathy and compassion they exuded along the way was genuine and sincere. I highly recommend choosing this law firm if you want the very best.”

“I highly recommend Scott D Pollock & Associates. This law firm is worth every penny. Anne Relias is a great attorney. She handled my husband’s case with professionalism and diligence. My husband was in removal proceedings for 17 years because we previously hired a law firm that did not know what they were doing. Ms. Relias obtained my husband’s green card within a few months of hiring their firm. She kept us informed, answered every question and provided us with a copy of everything that she filed with the court or government. Her pre-hearing argument and filings with the immigration court were excellent. No sloppy work. Ms. Relias definitely knows how to get her point across. She is very professional and guides you from beginning to the end of your case. She prepares you for trial and is very aggressive when doing so to obtain the best results possible. Ms. Relias is a very knowledgeable attorney that walks with confidence into the court room. I would definitely hire this law firm again. “I met Christina in Summer 2011 when immigration denied our I-485. She challenged the decision and helped me to get approval in October 2011. But immigration denied our application again in April , 2012. Then she asked me to go to immigration court as an immigration judge would decide much more fairly than USCIS. After 4-year waiting for an immigration judge, finally we got permission to stay in the U.S in November 2016. The judge sent back our case to USCIS and today all of my family members get green cards. We started L/C process in 2003 so it takes 14 years to get green cards. During the long period , Christina was even-tempered, decisive, well-organized and warm-hearted. She gave me proper advice whenever I fell into despair. My family count on her. We will be with her as long as we need an immigration lawyer. We love you, Christina!”

“Anne helped me obtain my citizenship when other attorneys said I didn’t have a chance. She made the process simple to understand. We then hired her again to obtain my husband’s green card. Again she was informative, helpful & honest throughout the whole process. She was very detailed about the documentation we needed to obtain & made sure all the t’s were crossed and the i’s dotted. She helped us obtain the waiver for unlawful presence & prepared us to the max for the interview in Juarez. She took care of all the details from setting up appointments, registrations & putting the packet together so that we had everything we needed for that much awaited appointment. Thanks to all the work she did with her legal assistant Maria, we are delighted to say that my husband was approved and we are now living together as a family in the states without the fear of being undocumented. “Scott Pollock brought hope and happiness back to our lives. No exaggeration here. They get positive outcomes for the most difficult issues in immigration law. Scott Pollock and Associates are immigration law masterminds. If you are up against impossible odds this firm will defy the odds. We initially applied for AOS with another attorney and we received a NOID due to a very difficult issue. We knew that a response to this would take an experienced, competent group of attorneys. Initially we worked with Anne Relias who, after hearing and studying our case, she was very knowledgeable about what we needed to help prove our case. Her brief was well composed and we all thought was strong enough to overcome this NOID, but subsequently was also denied. At that moment there was so much going on in our lives but Scott Pollock, Anne Relias and their team had so much faith in our case that they continued to work as determined as ever. They proceeded with the lawsuit and throughout the whole time they were very clear, confident and kept us frequently updated. Me and my wife faced one of the most difficult and rare type of cases in immigration law and the whole process was painful and long, but the outcome was positive and the first in the country we’ve ever heard to have a good outcome. It’s very hard to find attorneys who not only ever had experience with cases like that but that also had a good outcome. Not only competence but Scott Pollock showed compassion and tremendous effort and hard work to make our case continue through all the process and get our petition approved.”

“I had my first consultation with Mr. Pollock a couple of years ago after meeting with other immigration lawyers both in Illinois and in California (where I currently live). Mr. Pollock was the first lawyer who was honest about the intricacies and inherent difficulties of my case. In his explanations he demonstrated a keen understanding of immigration law and a realistic perspective of the ramifications that my case could potentially have.
My wife and I decided to move forward in hiring Mr. Pollock. After we hired him, we both were utterly impressed with his professionalism and that of his legal assistant (Ms. Markasovic). Both of them made the processes of filling out the different immigration forms and gathering all the supporting documentation very easy. At every point of this journey both of them were available and they addressed all of our questions promptly and courteously. Also their attention to detail was very helpful because many of these forms could be very overwhelming to fill out.
If anyone is interested in finding a good lawyer I would encourage this person to look carefully at Mr. Pollock’s work and gather a perspective of his career as he has a breadth of experience and a sincere desire to help the immigrant community. An anecdote will demonstrate what I am referring to. Prior to my interview with USCIS I asked Mr. Pollock why he decided to practice immigration instead of a type of law where there is more money. He explained to me that he decided to do this kind of law after seeing all the human rights violations in countries like Guatemala as well as the human toll that immigrant communities have experienced because of the broken immigration system. Mr. Pollock’s answer confirmed to me that I not only hired a good lawyer but one who had a humane perspective of the plight of the immigrants who try to make it through this maze that is our current immigration system.
Overall I felt very happy to have Mr. Pollock as counsel and I definitely recommend him.”

“Even though I was referred to Kathryn Weber by a coworker who was in removal process and Kathryn help him resolve it, my husband and I still did our research. We went to couple of lawyers for consultation, but we decided to hire Kathryn because she seemed knowledge and also because of the positive reviews that she had. We had a very complicated case – after about 5 years from the first initially immigration interview our case was denied based on marriage fraud (We had a different laywer – not Kathryn at that time). It was easy to work with Kathryn and Susan (the best legal assistant ever! Love her to death). Throughout the process Kathryn guided us step by step and kept us informed with what’s going on. It was very easy to communicate with Kathryn, I used mostly emails, she was great at responding quickly. No words can express how grateful I am to Kathryn and her legal assistant Susan. She helped us file paperwork for Advanced Parole, Adjustment of Status, and all related forms, and came with us to the final interview with USCIS. We felt so comfortable having her represent us. The entire process was less than a year, and the green card process itself was only 5 months. Of course this all depends on your situation, but it speaks to the efficiency and precision of her work.”

“I am very very grateful to Scott, Linda and to his law firm for all the time and assistance they gave me during this process of immigration and naturalization. First, by applying and acquiring my R-1 Visa, my Permanent Residence and then, my Naturalization as a citizen of the United States. I felt very confident all along thanks to their professional work, for being present with me in paper and in person at every moment. The Interview day for my Naturalization and the day of the oath ceremony will always be very memorable to me. A special ‘Thank You’ to Scott for coming to the Interview and for being there with me during my test with the USCIS official, a very crucial moment. It was a day full of emotions, nervousness, but I made it. Becoming a US citizen for me is and will always be a very significant event in my life, not only for myself and those who depend on me, but especially because of the up-coming federal elections of this year. I feel deeply obliged to vote and I will do it conscientiously. I honestly do not find sufficient words to thank both of you enough for all the hard work, always very professional, on time, patient and effective. I simply cannot think of any other attorney better than Scott D. Pollock and Associates. From the bottom of my heart! May God bless you always!”

“I was referred to Mr. Scott Pollock when I did not have my green card. Replacing it, became a next to impossible task since i had no other forms of identification at the time. I had gone through various refugee assistance programs with no success and had real difficulty affording the related costs, including that associated with retaining an immigration lawyer. Being jobless, I could do little to afford the necessary services, whether transportation costs or, again, costs associated with adequate and affective representation. Mr. Pollock and his firm took it upon themselves to secure my green card and citizenship papers. Though I paid processing costs, I was not charged for his services; he hoped I would be sure to similarly pass along some kind of substantive assistance in the future. Seeing me as one who would be quick to benefit the country in several ways, he kindly afforded transparent, consistent, and honorably effective service. Mr. Pollock’s service has been an urgent help but it has been more. It has been an inspiration toward other-focused participation in the Best of my adoptive society; he is an example of the best our society offers. Thank you so much for your help.”

“We hired Ms. Murdoch for our Adjustment of Status application based on our same sex marriage. We had been together for 18 years when DOMA was struck down and were eager to begin the process of getting a green card for my foreign born spouse. Ms. Murdoch demonstrated a very thorough knowledge of immigration law and was very responsive to all of our questions. She returned e-mails and phone calls promptly, provided complete and thorough answers to my many legal questions, did a good job explaining all of our options and presented a very convincing written legal argument to USCIS on our behalf. Our application was approved and my spouse now is a Legal Permanent Resident. Immigration law is extremely complex and should not be attempted by a layperson. Definitely contact Christina Murdoch to assist you on your immigration needs.”

“Mr. Pollock assisted my immigrant partner (now spouse) for 15-plus years through complex processes of obtaining his H-1 Visa, Employment Certification, and permanent residency– overseeing a successful outcome to our marriage petition and my husband’s Green Card in 2015. Along the way, we took his Adjustment Petition as far as the BIA. Mr. Pollock’s arguments were well-reasoned and clear based on the law, and he explained everything thoroughly and clearly to us. He and legal assistant Maria Hernandez are eminently qualified, thorough and understanding.”

“I am very happy to have met Scott D. Pollock. He and his team are extremely efficient, responsible, and supportive. I read many stories of how painful, long, and time consuming the process of getting a green card was. Having Scott on my side was nothing like those stories. He made the process very easy, told me what forms needed to be filled and submitted, and removed a lot of stress off my shoulders. Shortly after my application was reviewed and submitted by Scott and his team, I received a provisional permit that allowed to me travel abroad – which was a big concern for me, for professional and personal reasons. The experience and knowledge of Scott really shows. He is professional, honest, and very respected among his peers. Those credentials gave me so much confidence about the future of my immigration status. He was very supportive during the whole process, and by following his instructions the process went extremely smoothly. After about 9 months since the initial application I received my green card. Scott D. Pollock is a great lawyer, very reliable, and efficient. I totally recommend him. If I had to do the green card process again, I wouldn’t hesitate for a second to choose Scott D. Pollock and Associates.”

Found Mrs. Weber (3rd attorney) and finally got my approval and green card within 1-1/2 years of hiring her. She worked diligently in resolving the issues, addressing all my questions and concerns. She was always available and quickly replied to all my inquiries. She is very honest and has great knowledge of the system. “Christina is extremely responsive and took the time to answer the mountains of questions we had about the timing, the process itself and what was required of us. She also provided advice along each step of the way as to what needed to be done and what would help us have a positive outcome. Our situation was a little different than most as I spend most of my time out of the States and my husband was out of status. With questions that she wasn’t sure about she took the time to research them for us and got back to us within a reasonable amount of time usually within 24-48 hours. She was not able to make our immigration court date but had a very good replacement who met with us first to ensure the court appearance went well. Always responded rapidly to emails and voice mails as well. We had to be one of her first Gay couples applying for immigration status change and it went very smooth and in fact the examiner stated the case was easy to decision because it was so well documented.”

“Attorney Murdoch is a very talented immigration attorney; I am lucky to hire her to work on my case! I am a staff member(not involved much in teaching or researching) working for a public university, the university wont sponsor a staff member like me to apply for a green card application. Without the sponsorship of an employer; the only choice for me is to apply for EB1-A, which requires me to demonstrate national/international claim as well as reaching the very top of my field. Knowing my case is very edgy, I spend a lot of time to search a good lawyer and found Attorney Murdoch. It approves that I found the best person to help me! She is experienced, patient and talent. Highly recommended!”

“Kathryn responded immediately to my email requesting an advice regarding my parents’ immigrant visa interview. My parents had been accused of providing misleading information to the consulate in a past nonimmigrant visa interview. They were facing a possible permanent ban from ever entering US. Kathryn helped us write our affidavits to the consulate explaining the situation, as well as she send an excellent email providing legal explanation to why my parents’ nonimmigrant visa interview statements were of immaterial value to their immigrant visa case. This helped the consulate approve their immigrant visa and get my parents reunited with me in US. Kathryn was very helpful and knowledgeable about the matter, and managed to get the case resolved in less than 2 weeks.”

“Kathryn kept my brother from getting deported which is the absolute biggest thing anyone could have ever done for me. She worked incredibly hard during the entire 3.5 months that he was in deportation proceedings. She kept us informed and was very easy to reach and keep in contact with. She was very honest with us from the beginning about his chances of staying in the country. There was no time during the 3.5 months he was in McHenry County Jail that she was not there for us. I believe that a lot of lawyers would have looked at my brothers case and instantly said “there is no way he is staying” but she didn’t do that. She looked at options and she made sure we understood every possible route we could take. She worked very hard for my entire family, especially my brother, who admittedly was very tense and frustrated during his detainment, as would be expected. She always tried to keep his spirits up without making empty promises. When the time came for his master hearing she made sure everyone giving testimony was prepped and felt comfortable with going up on the stand. She always made sure to speak to my family at the end of every court hearing and answer any questions we had. At his final hearing she did the same . I am very thankful that we found Kathryn and that she became my brothers lawyer. I would recommend her to everyone. I would also say that if you have a loved one who is in deportation proceedings make sure to stay well informed and make sure to do the necessary work which may be asked of you. It is possible to keep your loved one here.”

“After living in the US for over 10 years I finally have obtained a work permit, a driver’s license, and a social security card! I met with several attorneys before Scott D Pollock and I was informed by all of them that I was not a good candidate for submitting a DACA application as I had entered the US as a child went back to Mexico as a teenager and then re-entered the US as an adult. Luckily, Scott D Pollock accepted my case and with the help of his outstanding assistant Sue Gerber my DACA application was approved! I am now allowed to work and drive legally in the US for the first time in my life. “When I came to Anne what I liked the most about her was her HONESTY. She did not give me promises like my previous attorney did. She evaluated the options and was just pure honest with my chances and options that I had at that time. She did keep me informed on a regular basis of the changing landscape of immigration laws. In my court case she fought hard to get my case dismissed. In short Anne really cares about her clients (something I could not say about my previous lawyer).”

Mr. Pollock’s dedication, resourcefulness, attention to detail, and refuse to give up attitude made it possible for us to be granted permanent resident status (Green Card) and achieve peace of mind. “Ms. Relias handled an immigration matter for me with the US Embassy in Uganda (Africa). I found Anne to be incredibly polished, knowledgeable and blindingly brilliant. There is absolutely no way that I would have succeeded with my matter if it were not for Anne’s guidance, dedication and perseverence. There were times when I felt like giving up but Anne’s reassurance and commitment kept me hopeful. Anne is a formdable lawyer who certainly knows her game! I have dealt with other lawyers in the past but none has been as direct, well-prepapred and aggressive as Anne was. There are lawyers who distance themselves from a matter as it gets complex – not Anne. I could tell that the more complex and difficult my matter evolved, the more zeal Anne had for us to win! For the seasoned and busy lawyer that Anne is, I got very quick responses to any inquiries and was updated about my matter at all times. Despite the distance, Anne was always a phone call or e-mail away! In one line: Anne is a smart and dependable lawyer possessed with a wealth of experience. Would I engage her again or recommend her to others? Absolutely! Anne does live up to her excellent reputation as one of the best in the field of immigration law.”

“I retained Mr. Scott Pollock and his firm to handle a most difficult immigration case of mine two years ago. I was working with Scott and his associates on my removal proceeding case. My case is one of the most complicated ones involving with corporate law, different H1Bs and different people with almost 12 years immigration paper review.
Scott has been a shiny light in my life after my initial consultation. I interviewed more than 10 recommended attorneys and finally went with Scott. I was EXTREMELY happy with Scott and very glad I picked him two years ago! This is one of the smartest decisions I have ever made in my life! I had a storm of catastrophic lawyers I had previously consulted. Even though my case was very complicated, Scott took care of everything and was terrific in boiling down smallest details and information of the case to the essentials to present before USCIS. It was very extremely helpful to have Scott guide me through the complex legal maze. His ability to give personal attention to clients, work diligently with attention to details, write concisely and achieve results is striking. Scott is a strategist in presenting my case and explaining to the immigration court and communicating with USCIS attorneys.
Even though I was in traveling overseas for a long time and he being in the US, did not make any difference or hamper our interaction while working on court preparation. Scott made sure that we both understand all necessary details in great depth leaving no stones unturned for any failure. I was extremely impressed with his mentoring skills and made me confident as never before and was so excited and eagerly waiting for court day!! Scott accompanied during my court days and my case was dropped even before the court day! I am highly impressed with his unmatched excellence in providing top-quality immigration representation. Truly, Scott’s leadership, hard work and ability to get things done and diffuse complex environment are an inspiration to me and my family. At same time, I am falling short of words for thankfulness and heartfelt gratitude for assisting me out of this legal and unchartered situation. Above all, he is extremely nice human being, friend and fabulous leader willing to help anytime. After this case, I know I will keep retaining Scott for all future immigration legal matters! I would strongly and highly recommended Scott and his team to any of people who are seeking a proven-track-of-record, friendly, experienced, professional immigration attorney…
With no words to describe and smile on my face forever, please accept thankfulness from me and my brothers for your great help. I am confident that the Scott Pollock & Associates will remain as being as pinnacle of the professional forever.
Only two words to say: God Bless You and Thank You Very Much!”

Our case was sent back to US, while we were stuck in Poland waiting for response from USCIS…. When we finally got it the answer our lawyer left us hanging. Mr. Scott was our only chance. He pulls our response to USCIS in less than two weeks. He had worked even holidays and Sundays staying on top of everything. He is excellent very knowledgeable and really care about his clients, very good communication his whole team is great. Before meeting with Kathryn, I’ve reached out to several different Chicago attorneys and no one wanted to represent me due to the complexity of my case. “Kathryn did an excellent job working on my green card application, which required a waiver. The case file that she put together was so good that Homeland Security had to call my wife an I for an interview to verify the case. They told us that our case was almost too good to be true.
Kathryn is very knowledgable of the immigration laws and regulations and gives excellent advise on navigating through the systems and makes you feel comfortable dealing with consular officers and immigration officials at the port of entry.
Although the case had a lot of complexity there were no issues when dealing with the officials either at the embassy or at the port of entry.”

“Mr. Scott is a excellent lawyer! Starting from the office staff to my overall experience I was treated with respect and understanding of my situation. I must say he made a very difficult experience so much easier to deal with. He protected me and made me understand that what had happened was not my fault and could be dealt with in a respectable manner. His staff especially Maria have kept me informed and up to date on everything, and I really appreciated what Mr. Scott has done for me. I would highly recommend him in every situation when I would think someone needed a Lawyer in Indian community, And also to anyone who is looking for a professional and knowledgeable Lawyer. I would recommend Mr. Scott Pollock before any other lawyer out there. He will be in my life as I continue, either it being in use of his services or just to say a hello. Thank you.”

“I went to about four immigration lawyers who told me that my case would make it nearly impossible to obtain a Green Card through the DV Lottery I had just won, because I was out of status. These lawyers told me I was safer not doing anything. So I decided to go with Scott Pollock & Associates because they told me differently. Christina took my case and she made the experience encouraging throughout because of her confidence in the subject matter. She paid considerable attention to every little detail of my case and provided advice and assistance that was beyond what I expected. I was able to go abroad with the necessary requirements and come back successfully as a permanent resident. At a time when I thought all was impossible, Christina’s wisdom, ability and hard work really made my experience a lot more comfortable and kept me optimistic throughout.”

“Scott was recommended to be by another attorney that is from my town in central Illinois. Besides requesting permanent residency, I had other issues to deal with and from the very first consultation, which had to be over the phone since I live 3 hours from Chicago, I felt that I could really trust Scott and he was very knowledgeable. Once I got in touch with his legal assistant, Maria, every time I had a question she would be very helpful always returning my calls promptly. I know that when choosing an attorney, with all the other costs sometimes you may want to save some money on the fees, but you really need someone that will be able to argue and fight for you if you need. We filed for my permanent residency and in 3 months I already had the card printed in my hands. That’s why my husband and I would highly recommend his services and Scott will definitely be the one taking care of my naturalization process when the time comes. Keep up the great work!”

“I contacted Mr Scott Pollock Law firm after a previous unsatisfactory experience with other Immigration Lawyer in Chicago. Mr Pollock not only did a realistic and accurate evaluation of my immigration case, but designed me a timeline and a plan so we could work together and achieve my goals. Mr Scott Pollock & Associates team were completely dedicated with my case, treat me as family, guided me by the hand along the dire straits of the immigration process, had me always informed of every step, in time and promptly. They requested every document needed for my files without errors and extraordinary detail, they filed every form with USCIS on time and had me in the loop with any progress on my case. He also took valuable extraordinary actions when were needed the most. Thanks to Mr Pollock’s streamlined mastery, dedication and professionalism I have been successful obtaining my permanent residency status in the USA in a reasonable time and I definitely will request his services again when applying for my naturalization.”

“Scott took over my wife’s case when my after my 1st attorney made mistakes and ultimately failed in adjusting my wife’s status as a US resident. My wife faced a 10 year bar from the US and I was terrified. Scott and his team put together a very strong case and ultimately was wife was granted her residency and never had to leave the US.”

“Scott is a great lawyer to work with. He handled a difficult case to successful completion even though we had to retry the process a couple of times.
Scott is very calm and steady most of the time. I can best describe him as the “Tortoise” who ultimately wins the race over the Hare.
I have in the past recommended Scott to family members and would not hesitate to recommend him to other family members, friends and acquaintances.”

Kathryn Weber is excellent because she helped me understand and provided me with the correct information that I needed for my case. She even went out of her way to fly down to my state to represent me. Kathryn was very understanding of my situation; she remained very professional in every aspect of my case. Kathryn remained nonjudgmental and respected me for who I am as a person.

“I would thoroughly recommend Annie Relias to anyone. She expertly handled all of our green card application. She was approachable about any questions my husband and I had and answered everything we needed her to. She made the whole process surprisingly easy and that is why we are using her again to have the condition removed.”

“My experience does attest it. Prior to Mr. Pollock handling my case, the outlook was quite gloomy. The attorney at law who had represented me in front of an immigration judge abandoned me at a crucial time. With close deadlines to meet, my legal recourses seemed to dry rapidly. Under such circumstances, I found Mr. Pollock’s name in the Martindale-Hubbel lawyer directory and I asked for his professional services. Mr. Pollock took charge of my defense, despite the odds against it, and he brilliantly argued my cause in the court of law. Long story short, it was a happy ending.”

“The Immigration Service did not believe that my first marriage was valid. After years of working with other immigration lawyers, but being frustrated with delays and then denials of my applications for lawful status, I went to Scott D. Pollock and Associates for help. Scott and his staff were knowledgeable and completely dedicated to achieving my goals. When the Immigration Service continued to deny my resident status and even tried to deport me, Scott brought my case to federal court to argue that the Immigration Service was violating my legal rights to information and to have my case fairly considered. This strategy was successful and today I am a lawful resident and able to work and live with my family as a free person. I am looking forward to applying for my U.S. citizenship soon. Scott and his firm were attentive to my needs, always honest and candid with their assessments, and offered flexible payment plans so we could achieve a positive outcome in my case. I recommend Scott D. Pollock and Associates to anyone who expects superior service and hopes for success in their immigration case.”

“I was referred to Att.S.Pollock by the AILA website. I met with Scott back in 2002 and I was a client for 6 yrs during which Scott lived up to what I expected and more.First class lawyer , the consumate “Philadelphia lawyer” of immigration law. calm in demeanor and always has a plan. Att. Pollock and his staff (esp. Ms.Maria Hernandez) are second to none. Very responsive and extremely aware of the implications of their work on the lively hood of their clients . They take that responsibility very seriously. Very courteous kept me very well informed of the progress of my case over the years. One is hard pressed to critique Scott in anyway . No un-needed drama just facts and action.
On a personal note Scott and his staff are very friendly and caring .After my case came to a successful conclusion it felt like I was losing touch with old pals. I would highly recommend them and most certainly would go back to Scott and his team any day.”

“I am a Palestinian who won an asylum case by the help of Mr. Scott D. Pollock in Chicago. Choosing Mr. Pollock’s law firm was definitely the right choice to represent me before the Immigration court in Chicago. I do thank Mr. Pollock’s law firm for his hard work and dedication to my case through a thorough study and search to help me win the case. For me as a Palestinian it was extremely hard for me and my case to be presented in a proper and organized way, but I was able to win the asylum through the truly hard work and commitment from my lawyer Scott D. Pollock. I was impressed of the amount of knowledge and interest at Mr. Pollock’s law firm about the Palestinian-Israeli struggle, which in fact reflected a positive, strong, and structured defense for my case before the immigration court. I thank him and I strongly recommend his firm to others.”

“Scott took on our case which a lot of other lawyers turned down or said that they were 50/50 on whether they could help us. Scott helped us through this difficult time by consoling us and responding to all inquires by the US Immigration Department. At one point in my wife’s case, she was denied permanent residence but then Scott responded to the government and had it overturned. Scott represented us during many interviews with the government and took care of all the legal processes. I can tell you that Scott seemed to understand the immigration laws better than the immigration officers making decisions. But this is only my opinion. My wife’s case is now finished and she has permanent residence. It was a long year and a half meeting with the government but Scott helped us successfully file and ultimately got my wife her residence card. I first tried to file all of this myself but now I understand that legal assistance is important and helpful. I will file soon for my wife’s US Citizenship.”

“We have used Scott Pollock and his firm for three different situations. In all instances, he was the most responsive, informed and helpful lawyer I have ever worked with in any situation. He personally meets with you, clearly establishes your situation, is totally upfront and honest about the process and never suggests anything that is even mildly inappropriate. He is smart, funny, personable, and extremely helpful. He even told us to call him on his cell on a weekend if there was an issue at airport immigration.
Scott is clearly well respected with the not only the professional community, as he has won many professional awards due to his work, but he is also respected by INS. He personally attended our INS meeting and was an enormous help.
Most importantly, I think Scott is brilliant at what he does. He is bilingual, as is most of his office, and he knows the ropes. His advice is invaluable. I would not hesitate to recommend him to anyone. When you work with his firm, you work with the best.”
