As a member of the AILA National Pro Bono Committee, Scott D. Pollock & Associates partner Anne Relias played a pivotal role in organizing a highly successful pro bono event at the Resurrection Project Migrant Clinic here in Chicago last month, demonstrating the power of collaboration and community support.
On June 14th, AILA members attending the annual conference in Chicago gathered to assist over 60 applicants with Employment Authorization Documents (EAD) and Temporary Protected Status (TPS) applications. AILA members were impressed with the organization and efficiency of the migrant clinic, a testament to the dedication and hard work of the volunteers and organizers.
The Resurrection Project’s workshop has been a cornerstone for pro bono legal services in Chicago since its inception in December 2023, offering crucial aid to the migrant community with the cooperation of the State of Illinois and the Department of Homeland Security. This latest event highlights the ongoing commitment of Scott D. Pollock & Associates and the AILA to support and empower migrants through legal assistance.
